Roasted Coffee
Our roasted coffee beans and ground coffee are specialty grade, fully washed, 100% Arabica with a cupping score of 84+ points (SCAA). Gorilla’s Coffee is roasted from professionally selected high grade green coffee beans sourced from farmers’ cooperatives in Rwanda.
This coffee is grown on the nitrogen-rich soils in the highlands (approximately 1700 m.a.s.l) on the outskirts of Volcanoes National Park, harboring the endangered mountain gorillas that inspired the brand name Gorilla’s Coffee.
The combination of a unique high altitude climatic conditions and rich soils make Gorilla’s Coffee beans the most preferred Arabica coffee in Rwanda due to its aromatic, balanced acidity, heavy-body, and pleasant aftertaste.
With her state-of-the-art, automated roaster machine, Gorilla’s Coffee is available as Light, Medium, Medium-to-Dark, and Dark roast.
